Douglas (II NICE) Lofton is the CEO of So Bold Entertainment, he was a Radio Broker for Music Registry and also worked as the new division A&R for Ichiban Music Group/ 404 music network. Douglas was also the South East Regional Director for MDI Distributions. CEO Nina Easton President Ichiban Music Group/ 404 music network and Laurie Montgomery president of MDI Distribution stated that” We are excited to have Douglas aboard as our new SE Regional Director, with his 22 yrs of expertise in the music industry he will bring us the best of the best artist Nationwide. MDI Distribution is set to release their artists on the roster Boo from Boo and Gotti and D Boyz. In 2005 Douglas inked a Distribution Deal with MDI Distribution. The distribution deal has allowed Douglas to market and sale his artist cd’s regionally and nationally at major retail stores. Douglas is the SC representative for the Black Urban Magazine in Atlanta GA; he is the SC Coordinator for the Mid-Atlantic Music Conference in Charlotte NC which is a big arena of artists coming from all over the US to showcase their talent. Douglas is the founder of the Southeastern Showcase in SC, which showcases local talent in SC to Industry Executives, Major Record Labels, Radio Personalities and Promoters from New York, Atlanta, and Los Angles. Also Douglas promotes major events in South Carolina though So Bold Promotions, the events include major gospel concerts, hip hop/R&B concerts and comedian shows.
